Co-piloting ChaosNova: "Seeker" behind-the-scenes (8)

I shall exploit the header space to boost the signal of our GM's Gofundme campaign: https://www.gofundme.com/blueberrycreekrecovery

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vaguely around Earth Occidental Standard Year 2014, the drift of interwebs lead my paths into collaboration course with Chaos Nova universe. I have since run a character in the forum-based space opera RPG (dispensing unsolicited advice about universe, life, and everything in the process), yapped along to countless online gaming sessions, and dug deep into the creative flow with editing, co-writing, and worldbuilding.

This is one of those posts where I show the snippets of me and Knux working on "Seeker" edits over Skype. Here are links to the previous posts in the series: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven

And here's a selection of snippets from the latest editing-discussion sessions. The chapters around the story's second third's end were already in reasonably good shape text-wise; at the same time, the seemingly minor loose ends at the wording level came with some deeper worldbuilding baggage. So that's what we're tackling with here. (Also, just reading some excerpts for sharing.)

First-off, addressing some questions about possible ID solutions and technologies (that won't require a lot of re-writes to implement).

Then, just some excerpts. (Mostly showing off some world-flavour.)

A playlist at the ChaosNovaWritingCorner channel features all such mini-moments; I'm also posting them on our Twitter account almost daily.

  1. 1 year later: "Seeker" is released (& even received some sneaky bugfixes while out there)!
