Library Lunchbreaking (Vol 15)

In a nutshell: new job brought lunch hours, lunch hours brought regular walks, I brought camera (occasionally), I post photos from those walks.

Just like the previous walk-log, this one's from February. We were having a proper sunny week and some faint hints of actual spring after the lingering non-winter.
I chose a new direction this time: follow the river downstream, pass under the main road bridge...

...observe the backside of the busy shop & market block, and follow the bank all the way to the open-market foot-bridge to cross back.

The bankside path here has frequent rest-stop scenery-deck pockets. So while the area I covered is rather small and the left-bank path curves maybe two kilometers at most, It took a while because I'd take frequent pauses to snap shots of all the sunlight.

I'd also try to capture the dramatic vistas with racing clouds and crispy buildings (historical as well as modern ones). Results vary.

As I was closing in on the foot bridge, I had to stop and try to capture some smartass birts. (These results also vary.)

Once up on the foot bridge, you'll get a view of the same market blocks other side. I am, meanwhile, interested in other kinds of things such as wild street art and random oddities.

Still, I believe these vistas finally fulfil my "arcitecture, with drama clouds" goal. (Especially with a little watchtower in the mix.)

From there, I took an uneventful stroll through the market block, passed from under the road bridge in reverse, and returned to the familiar views.
