Library Lunchbreaking (Vol 11)

In a nutshell: new job brought lunch hours, lunch hours brought regular walks, I brought camera (occasionally), I post photos from those walks.

Just like previous walk-log, this one is from early January. This time I decided to explore the hillsides beyond the "main" hill, extending my regular routes a little bit.

On my way I was trying to capture the subtle shifts in greens, paint and moss alike.(Results vary.)

And this would be the hill-beyond-the hill. The dug-out "bowl" is a beloved sledging ground in normal winters.

In this that's-totally-not-how-our-winters-should-work-or-look time, however, I tried to at least capture some of the weirdness. (Apparently, "weirdness" pretty much just means "shots of buildings and moss" for me.)

This mounds-and-footpaths area always triggers my gamer sense and feels like part of some game map... somehow. But I couldn't say which game(s) or why that might even be.

A little exercise in photography while circling back towards the "main hill"- forcing yourself to let go of the depth perception and viewing the scene in 2D, as if in photo output. I like what that mode of seeing id to the lamp posts.

As I finished my hill-round and descended back towards the town hall square, I noticed how the gutters were still sparkling with new year's confetti.

This one wasn't a very long walk either.
