So I have been playing ... (114). Wasteland 2, Darwin village.

I concluded my previous session of this magnificent Wasteland-onward-push when we were approaching the Darwin village, because from my brief experience with Wasteland1, I figured there's be enough trouble for a whole day.





We reached a door that looked important. Alas, our pick'n'hack skills were not up to the required level. I was hoping that perhaps Angela would have some unique knowledge on the matter, so we did some party-juggling. That didn't work.



When your skills fall short and all else fails, there is always one thing you can do: pick fights, earn exp, level up, improve skill. With heightened expertise and some undeservedly good fortune, we managed to crack the door, and discovered a whole underground complex!



With some plague in our belly, we sneaked into the Darwin complex, and discovered many wonderful wonders like lipsticks and cure for cancer.




On the way out we picked up a new party member, then rushed back to the Citadel to report and go give good news to the Doc.



After sorting out our gear and bearings...


... we returned to Darwin and tried to feed various items to the green mutant thingie that we found in a heavily guarded containment unit. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
