Co-piloting ChaosNova: "Seeker" behind-the-scenes (6)

I shall exploit the header space to boost the signal of our GM's Gofundme campaign: https://www.gofundme.com/blueberrycreekrecovery

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vaguely around Earth Occidental Standard Year 2014, the drift of interwebs lead my paths into collaboration course with Chaos Nova universe. I have since run a character in the forum-based space opera RPG (dispensing unsolicited advice about universe, life, and everything in the process), yapped along to countless online gaming sessions, and dug deep into the creative flow with editing, co-writing, and worldbuilding.

This is one of those posts where I show the snippets of me and Knux working on "Seeker" edits over Skype. Here are links to the previous posts in the series: one, two, three, four, five.

Here is a handful of moments from the latest editing-discussion session(s). The spoiler-free snippets are getting scarcer now that we've reached to the middle of the book, bumping into a lot of plot points that are better discovered than told in advance.

For starters, two micro-excerpts, followed by shameless gloating.

Then we get snooty with the platform that feeds us.

A brief dive into how the worldbuilding has changed sine the first draft.

Finally, two bits to reveal our work process a bit.

  1. 1 year later: "Seeker" is released (& even received some sneaky bugfixes while out there)!
